San Francisco 49ers will start Colin Kaepernick as their QB

San Fransisco 49ers offensive coordinator Curtis Modkins on Tuesday has announced the news that Colin Kaepernick will be the starting quarterback for the team next Sunday afternoon when the 49ers host the New York Jets at Levi’s Stadium in Santa Clara California. The decision to start Kaepernick as the starting quarterback of the 49ers comes as no surprise since Blaine Gabbert who replaced Kaepernick as the quarterback of the 49ers (1-11) during the 26-6 loss to the Chicago Bears in snowy conditions at Soldier Field in Chicago Illinois did not improve the performance of his team during the football game versus the Bears by leading his team to a touchdown drive.Kaepernick was sacked five times by the Bears defense and completed one pass in five attempts for four yards before he was replaced by Gabbert.Modkins believes that the Bears game was an off day for Kaepnerick who showed flashes of brilliance during the 49ers 31-24 loss to the Miami Dolphins the week before. The 49ers have a great chance of beating the New York Jets (3-9) who are out of a playoff chase this year playing in front of their hometown fans next Sunday afternoon.Kaepernick has four games left to show any team in the National Football League that he deserves a chance to be a starting quarterback in the league since he plans to enter the free agent market at the end of the current football season. The 49ers won their only football game of the 2016 football season in Week One when they beat the Los Angeles Rams 28-0 on ESPN Monday Night Football.News source is NFL.com and the image is courtesy of Pinterest.com.
