The Carolina Panthers announced some bad news on Saturday that linebacker Luke Kuechly who suffered a concussion injury during the Panthers 23-20 win over the New Orleans Saints on November 17, 2016 will not be in the starting lineup on Sunday December 11, 2016 when the Panthers host the San Diego Chargers at Bank Of America Stadium in Charlotte North Carolina.Kuechly who is the heart and soul of the Carolina Panthers defense will miss his third straight game since he has not been medically cleared to resume his football activities. The Panthers (4-8) who entered the 2016 National Football League season as the defending National Football Conference Champions are not in contention to make a playoff run this year.A. J. Klein will replace Kuechly as the starting linebacker for the Panthers on Sunday afternoon versus the Chargers (5-7). Kuechly did practice with his teammates on Friday but he was not able to receive medical clearance by the medical staff to play his next football game versus the Chargers since the last thing the National Football League needs is to have another black eye with rushing their star players on the gridiron when they have not fully recovered from a concussion injury. All the Panthers can do for the remaining four games of the regular season is to run the table and hope to have a non-losing season.Like them or not, the Panthers did entertain the football fans during the 2015 football season with their brand of entertainment football but this year they have hit a sour note which surprised their fan base in 2016.News source: ESPN.com and Image is courtesy of Pinterest.com
