Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson news

Hello everyone to another edition of the Friday sports blog.  The subject matter is Minnesota Vikings running back Adrian Peterson not being able to play football in Week 16 when the Green Bay Packers (8-6) who are currently in second place in the National Football Conference North Division standings one game behind the Detroit Lions (9-5) will be hosting the Minnesota Vikings (7-7) at Lambeau Field in Green Bay Wisconsin on Saturday December 24, 2016 which is Christmas Eve.Peterson has not fully recovered from a groin and knee injury which made the decision not to have him in the starting lineup versus the Packers on Saturday since the Vikings are on the edge of being eliminated from making an appearance in the playoffs this year.Peterson will replaced in the Vikings roster by running back C.J. Ham who was activated from the practice team on Friday by the team.Jerick McKinnon and Matt Asiata will be the running backs for the Vikings on Saturday while Ham will be the third string running back for the team. The best thing the Vikings can do is to play the role of spoiler against the Packers and their final regular season game against the Chicago Bears since their chances to make the playoffs are very remote at this time.News source is Rotoworld.com and the image is courtesy of Pinterest.com
