Earl Thomas is not going to retire

Hello everyone to a Christmas edition of the sports blog.In my observation of watching the National Football League from the early 1970s to the present is that various nicknames of team defenses that have played in Super Bowls like the Dallas Cowboys “Doomsday Defense”, the “Steel Curtain” of the Pittsburgh Steelers and the “Legion Of Boom” defense of the Seattle Seahawks which in my opinion is a parody of the Super Friends cartoons series the villains who were known as the “Legion Of Doom.”Seattle Seahawks defense back Earl Thomas, 27, who broke his leg in Week 13 of the 2016 National Football League regular season was thinking of retirement after his injury but according to a report on Rotoworld.com on Sunday, Thomas said on his Twitter account “I’ll def be back next year.”The Seahawks (9-5-1) are currently in first place in the National Football Conference West Division. Thomas is one of their most valuable players on their defense. Even though he is not going to play football for the rest of this football season, by telling his fans his intention to return in 2017 is a welcome sigh of relief to the Seahawks fan base who enjoy seeing their Justice League gridiron heroes do their thing.News source is Rotoworld.com and the image is courtesy of Pinterest.com
