Is Steelers coach a “cheerleader guy”?

Former Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Terry Bradshaw who played in the National Football League from 1970-1983 said in an interview on Fox Sports 1 sports talk show “Speak For Yourself” on Friday in his opinion current Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin who has been the head coach of the American Football Conference North Division team since 2007 is a “cheerleader guy.”I guess the current Steelers players have never heard of the expression “Opinions are like noses and rear ends. Everybody has one.”The current Steelers players took the comments of Bradshaw with anger in their eyes as they used their putdowns of their current head coach as motivation to beat the Baltimore Ravens on Sunday afternoon by a final score of 31-27 at Heinz Field in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania.Okay so Bradshaw worked under his former head coach the late Chuck Noll from 1969-1991. As far I know since I did not get too close to the former Steelers head coach not a “cheerleader guy.”Gee whiz people when someone from a different era says something that ruffles your feathers cut that person some slack because it was a different era in the 1970s than we have today. If I were the current Steelers football players and coaches I will brush off any criticism of Bradshaw or anyone else as being taken with a grain of salt or my late dad would advise me “Water off a duck.”Since Fox Sports will cover Super Bowl LI and if the Steelers win the Super Bowl, I would like to see the facial  reaction of Bradshaw who will likely have to eat his words for calling Mike Tomlin “a cheerleader guy.”  News source is ESPN.com and the image is courtesy of Pinterest.com
