Welcome everyone to another edition of the final 2016 sports blog. First of all I want to thank everyone for the support and love since I joined this site in September.I have to love the Worldwide Leader In Sports ESPN who is the source of this blog that concerns Baltimore Ravens head coach John Harbaugh having his quarterback Joe Flacco who tore two ligaments in his left knee in November 22, 2015 during the Ravens 16-13 win over the St. Louis Rams (now Los Angeles Rams) which sidelined him for the rest of that football season.Fast forward to January 1, 2017 when the Baltimore Ravens (8-7) who are not going to be in a playoff game will take on the Cincinnati Bengals (5-9-1) in a game for diehard football fans only. Ravens head coach John Harbaugh is being second guessed by the media for going to play his starters in a “meaningless game”.Sure the Ravens are rolling the dice by starting Joe Flacco as the starting quarterback of the football team after he has recovered from a knee injury last year. The burden will be on Flacco and Harbaugh if something should happen to Flacco during the football game versus the Bengals. But then Harbaugh is paid a huge amount of money to win games for his employers and if he decides to have his star quarterback play in a game that is considered meaningless by the media.Sometimes I wish I was the Commissioner of the National Football League and shorten the amount of regular season football games from 16 to 12 since the risk of star players getting injured will be lessened and the media will stop their whining.I am sure the game is out of reach Harbaugh will take Flacco out of the game and have Ryan Mallett get some playing time.Or in the words of Alfred E Neuman of Mad magazine fame “What me worry?”News source is ESPN.com and the image is courtesy of Pinterest.com
