Atlanta Falcons OC Kyle Shanahan news

Hello everyone and welcome to the Thursday edition of the football blog.Current Atlanta Falcons offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan is becoming a head coaching candidate for the vacant Denver Broncos head coaching job after Gary Kubiak who coached the Broncos from 2015-2016 stepped down at the end of the 2016 regular football season due to health issues.Kyle is the son of former Denver Broncos head coach Mike Shanahan who led the Broncos to two straight Super Bowl wins in 1997 and 1998.John Elway who is the now the general manager of the Broncos was the quarterback of the two Super Bowl winning teams under the coaching leadership of Mike Shanahan.Do not be surprised if Elway decides to pursue Kyle Shanahan to be the next Denver Broncos head coach since he would repaying his former coach by hiring his son to be the next head coach of the Broncos in the 2017 football season. The catch is that Shanahan cannot accept a head  coaching job in the National Football League until the end of the Atlanta Falcons run in the playoffs or if they make it to the Super Bowl 51, which will end the  2016 football season. After all Gary Kubiak was Elway’s backup quarterback with the Broncos from 1983-1991 before he was hired to succeed John Fox as the Broncos head coach in 2015.News source is and the image is courtesy of
