Toronto Argonauts to hire Marc Trestman as their head coach

Former Chicago Bears head coach Marc Trestman has been hired by the Toronto Argonauts of the Canadian Football League (CFL) on Monday.Trestman was the head coach of the Montreal Aloulettes from 2008-2012 before in a bizarre move by the management of the Chicago Bears, Trestman was hired to succeed Love Smith as the head coach of the football team before the start of the 2013 football season. What makes me scratch my head was that Smith was fired after the Bears failed to make the playoffs with a record of 10 wins and six losses in 2012. Trestman was the head coach of the Chicago Bears from 2013-2014 before he was fired at the end of his second season with the team in what in my opinion he was not given enough time to build the Bears into playoff contenders.Trestman was the offensive coordinator of the Baltimore Ravens from 2015 before he was terminated by the Ravens on October 10, 2016.According to Rotoworld.com Trestman was a candidate to be the offensive coordinator of the Los Angeles Rams before Matt LeFleur was hired to work as the offensive coordinator under head coach Sean McVay.Trestman now is the head coach of one of the rival of the Montreal Aloulettes in 2017, the length of the contract and his salary were not announced by Rotoworld.com.News source is Rotoworld.com and the image from Pinterest.com
